Show More The Bachelor of Science in information technology provides students with the expertise to design, select, implement and administer computer-based information solutions. The ASU Online program focuses on web applications, developing skills to use the tools, languages and frameworks for designing and realizing complex web sites. Students in this program obtain a broad range of technical skills enabling them to design and create effective solutions to today’s knowledge-based problems. They gain the ability to create network architectures, configure and administer complex web-based database systems, create effective web sites and design process interactive media solutions. Graduates of the BS in information technology program learn technical and business skills, qualifying them for careers in IT departments and related functions. Some graduates pursue careers as technical support staff, depending on the focus area and secondary skills the student’s develop in the program.
