Show More Anderson University offers, in partnership with the Department of Adult Studies, an accelerated Bachelor of Science: Nursing (BSN) for registered nurses who have a diploma or associate degree in nursing. The RN-BSN Completion Program emphasizes analytic skills, a liberal arts perspective, and expertise for nursing practice. The BSN focuses on developing students for practice in the professional roles of practitioner, educator, scholar, member of the profession, and leader/manager. Students are prepared to design innovative nursing systems for individuals, families, and communities with complex health states in varied settings.
The RN-BSN Completion Program is designed as a hybrid program, providing both courses in a classroom setting as well as online. The nursing courses may be completed in 16 months. Supporting and liberal arts courses are taken following completion of the nursing curriculum and provide the base for effective nursing practice. Transfer credit is evaluated by the Department of Adult Studies and the dean of the School of Nursing or his/her designate. Entry RequirementsAssociate degree or diploma in nursing (from a nationally accredited nursing school). Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana or eligibility for licensure. Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.0 (if below 2.0, student may be admitted probationally). Three letters of recommendation. Admission essay. Current CPR certification. Negative Mantoux, current immunizations. Criminal background report.

Those in lay ministry will find the MTS degree (non thesis track) a preparation for serving as leaders within the context of the local church or other ministries. This MTS seminary degree covers a broad spectrum of courses from theology and Bible, to church history. Those interested in future doctoral studies will discover the MTS degree (thesis track) serves as a path for making this next academic vocational step.
