Network engineer As a student of the course, you will first study core aspects of the computing discipline such as databases, data communications, systems analysis and design, information security and project management. You then follow a study pathway that suits your interest – choose to specialise in Network Engineering, Software Design, Systems Administration, Online Systems, IT Management, or Systems Analysis.
International students may study the Bachelor of Information Technology through CSU regional campuses* or the CSU Study Centre Sydney or Melbourne. Entry RequirementsStudents applying for entry to the Bachelor of Information Technology should have (1) of the following: NSW HSC ATAR with appropriate ATAR (typically 65 or greater) Completion of the NSW HSC (or equivalent) with strong performances in subjects in the Information Technology area Successful completion of at least two appropriate standard Information Technology university-level subjects For recent school leavers, a report from the school principal, equivalent to that used in the Principals' Report Entry Program (PREP), recommending the applicant as well-suited for university study Appropriate professional certifications Two years' relevant professional information technology work experience A completed AQF Certificate III (or above) in Information Technology or a related area.
