It provides a solid grounding in both technical accounting and non-technical skills which, combined with the achievement of the two awards, will give you a competitive advantage in the workplace. Students on the BSc Accounting degree course study for a range of modules resulting in progression through the CIMA exam structure to Advanced Diploma Level as well as the assessment of modules specific to the BSc degree.
Top-up Option
For those students who already have the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, we offer the opportunity to gain the BSc degree through the Top-up option. Entry RequirementsIB Diploma: 28
Alternative Qualifications We will also consider students with relevant accounting experience. Candidates for whom English is not their first language must be able to demonstrate a suitable level in written and spoken English. This is demonstrated by providing an IELTS certificate (minimum score of 6.0 required) or equivalent.
Entry into stage 2 and other exemptions Students with AAT level 4 (Level 8 - Scotland) will be accepted for direct entry into Stage 2 of the degree course. HNC and HND students, and students with other relevant prior qualifications, should contact CIMA directly to confirm their exemption status.
Top-up Option The entry requirement for this Top-up course are for applicants to have successfully completed the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting. Other FeesTuition fee varies for every year of study

Show More This distance learning social work course has been established for over twenty years and provides professional training to students from the UK and beyond. You will benefit from the vast array of specialist teaching available from a large academic staff, with all personal tutors being professionally qualified Social Workers. This course is predominantly taught through the University's virtual learning environment, CampusMoodle, where you will be able to interact with tutors and fellow students from around the country. Students are required to attend 2 teaching blocks per year of study at the University, each lasting 1 week. University Workbooks and Core Text will be provided for each assessed Module. Entry RequirementsYou must be employed in a Social Care setting for a minimum of 17.5 hours per week for the duration of the period of study. You must be able to satisfy the SSSC entry requirements for competence in Numeracy and IT skills. If you are unable to do this, you will be required to undertake a test to assess your competence in these areas. The course starts at stage 2 of a Scottish Honours Degree (SCQF 8); therefore you must already have certificated learning at Stage 1 (SCQF 7). This would commonly be an HNC or equivalent totalling 120 academic points. Stage 2 entry: requires 120 academic points and a minimum of 1 year's relevant experience.
