The NC State Jenkins Online MBA program is taught using mainly asynchronous methods with some synchronous sessions. This means that you can complete the course requirements at a time and location convenient to you, within the deadlines set by each professor. Teaching methods will include podcasts linked with PowerPoint, tools such as Moodle and Blackboard Collaborate, streaming video files, and discussion boards. Face-to-face instruction will be used for a required face-to-face 3-day immersion course and an optional week-long study abroad course. Our Master's Degree Program offers several options: the Master of Science (thesis), the Master of Computer Science (non-thesis, available via either distance learning or on-campus enrollment,) and a Master of Computer Networking (thesis or non-thesis, on campus or via distance learning). The flagship degree is the Ph.D. in Computer Science, which prepares students for leadership positions in academia, industry research labs, and government. All Graduate Programs within the Department of Computer Science are operated on NC State's Centennial Campus, which is adjacent to the University's Historic Campus in Raleigh, NC. The NC State Department of Computer Science now occupies a new building (Engineering Building II - EB II) on Centennial Campus.
