Five study streams can be accessed by students on the Civil Engineering programme – Bridge Engineering, Construction Management, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering and Water Engineering. The programme is organised and delivered by University staff, as well as practising engineers from consultancies and local authorities. Entry RequirementsA minimum of 60 per cent in an honours degree in civil engineering or equivalent accredited to CEng, or a minimum of 70 per cent in an honours degree in civil engineering accredited to IEng. Overseas equivalent qualifications are also welcome. Show More This is a M.E degree. With an ever-growing population, today's civil engineers face the challenge of building and maintaining a sustainable infrastructure. One of our most critical resources is water, and the water resources engineering focus of this degree program prepares you to tackle the evolving water concerns and other infrastructure issues facing future generations. Colorado State University is a leader in water-related issues and one of the few institutions providing an online graduate degree in civil engineering with a focus on water resources engineering and management. Through CSU’s internationally recognized Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, you can study online to earn either a Master of Engineering with a focus in water resources engineering or a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus in water resources. Take it from two time CSU student, Melissa Brennan. Colorado State University has always been Brennan’s school of choice. Our highly regarded civil engineering program drew her from Hawaii as an undergraduate student, and the education she received led her to again choose her alma mater for an online civil engineering master’s degree. Read how Brennan “returned” to CSU from 1,700 miles away to earn her graduate degree. Entry Requirements- B.S. in Engineering (students with an undergraduate degree in another discipline click here for admission requirements - http://www.online.colostate.edu/degrees/civil-engineering/admission-non-bse.dot). - 3.0 GPA in undergraduate degree from a regionally-accredited institution (exceptions may be made for students who have 5 years of work experience and who have passed the PE exam.
