Show More By focusing on fundamental economic principles and general management competencies such as managing conflict and managerial communication, Keller's MBA in General Management can introduce students to new strategies for success in business. As one of our 19 concentrations, our General Management concentration also allows you to customize your coursework to reflect your general management interests. At Keller our faculty are also industry leaders who understand the realities of the managerial process. For this reason, our general management courses address a range of essential topics, including decision-making, establishing evaluation criteria, determining trade-offs and estimating probabilities and risk. By emphasizing communication competencies, our general management courses are designed to help you gain a competitive advantage, whether you choose to work within an established business environment or an entrepreneurial setting. Entry RequirementsApplicants must have hold a bachelor's degree from a University-recognized institution. If your undergraduate GPA is below 2.70 on a 4.0 scale, you must achieve acceptable scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Keller-administered admission test.
International applicants Must hold a degree recognized as equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate degree . Applicants whose native language is other than English must demonstrate English-language proficiency by providing evidence of one of the following:
- Submission of a post-secondary transcript verifying completion of 30 semester-credit hours of baccalaureate-level courses (excluding remedial and developmental courses) with at least a C (70 percent) average from an institution at which the language of instruction was English. - Submission of an earned Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of at least 550 on the paper-based TOEFL, 213 on the computer-based TOEFL or 79 on the Internet-based TOEFL. - Submission of an overall band score of at least 6.0 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam. - Submission of an overall score of at least 4.5 on the International Test of English Proficiency (iTEP) Academic-Plus exam.
