Creighton’s M.S. in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution is housed in the Werner Institute at the Creighton University School of Law, which is ranked among the nation's best law schools in the 2014 edition of The Princeton Review annual college guide. The program includes three concentrations that reflect employment and industry trends: Health Care Collaboration and Dispute Resolution: Covers disputes related to the increasingly complex health care industry, with implications for patient safety, coverage issues, professional relationships and health care administration. International Negotiations and Conflict Resolution: Focuses on intercultural communication and disputes crossing national boundaries, which can benefit global corporations, international organizations and the military. Organizational Collaboration and Conflict Management: Targeted toward resolving disputes that arise in businesses, government, large institutions and community organizations. Entry RequirementsApplication fee: Each applicant must remit, along with the application form, a non-refundable, non-waiveable application fee of $50 in the form of a check or money order drawn in U.S. currency and made payable to Creighton University. A Bachelor's degree and transcripts for all Bachelors and post-Bachelors coursework. Transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing school and must contain the institution's official seal or stamp. Transcripts not in English must be accompanied by certified English translations. A 3.0 GPA or higher is required for unconditional acceptance into the program. Students not meeting this requirement may be accepted provisionally. A CV/resume A student's own mission statement, describing his or her long-term goals and why this program seems to them to be the right step to take down the road of achieving them (500-750 words). The program curriculum incorporates the University’s core Catholic and Jesuit values of conscience, compassion, and concern for poor and marginalized groups and individuals throughout each course offered.
