Show More The Restaurant, Hotel, and Meetings Management (RHM) Program at The University of Alabama was established in 1985 as part of the Department of Human Nutrition and Hospitality Management, College of Human Environmental Sciences. Over six-hundred students have graduated from the RHM program and are employed in a variety of hospitality management positions throughout the United States. Over 200 students are currently enrolled in the on-campus program and over 170 students are taking courses online. The entire RHM curriculum is available online.
As part of the curriculum students must complete 120 hours of coursework and complete a 1,000 hour practicum or a 480-600 hour internship in hospitality management in approved hospitality organizations around the globe.
