Show More This course delivers an advanced multidisciplinary understanding of contemporary issues that apply to sport and exercise science. It is aimed at learners who wish to update their knowledge and skills for professional development. The course offers a range of modules that integrate knowledge from the key sub-disciplines of sport and exercise science and adopts an issue based framework to achieve this goal. The MSc incorporates a substantial piece of independent research. The course is the first in the UK in the subject area to adopt an electronic distance-learning based format. It is therefore designed to be particularly attractive to those in full time work who wish to study in a flexible manner, and who cannot access traditionally delivered MSc courses due to geographical, work-based or other constraints. Entry RequirementsNormally a first degree in a related area, but evidence of a significant commitment to and long term interest in the field of study may also, under certain circumstances, be considered when examining applications.
