Show More This unique master’s degree is the first of its kind in the UK and builds upon the established success and reputation of the University as the leading provider of advice related higher education awards. The award builds on our existing advice undergraduate degrees (which have been running since 2003) and is in direct response to an overwhelmingly positive survey of the educational needs of the advice sector. It has been developed in conjunction with our partners from the sector and the teaching team all have considerable experience of working in the sector, including current membership of trustee boards and management within the industry. The programme focuses on the underpinning theories of social welfare law and policy and includes consideration of equality and human rights. It considers the theoretical underpinning of advice and enables students to analyse and critically reflect upon the relationship between social welfare and advice provision. The course is delivered wholly online through Blackboard VLE, using interactive discussions to support your learning and as such all students will need access to the internet. Entry RequirementsApplicants must have a first degree (minimum 2:2) The Award team will consider each application in order to assess their suitability to join the award. Experience in the sector is desirable. Other Fees |
