CQUniversity’s Bachelor of Health Promotion is designed to provide you with a comprehensive set of knowledge and skills that reflect the National Health Promotion Competencies. Upon completion of the degree, you will have experience managing and evaluating health promotion projects, developing partnerships with key stakeholders, using a range of practice-appropriate information and technologies, as well as being able to communicate effectively using oral, written and interpersonal skills and electronic media.

The program teaches you the skills and knowledge that enable you to work competently with individuals and communities with a focus on helping them to increase control over and improve their health and wellbeing. There is 10 months of part-time, work integrated learning built into this program, providing valuable practical experience and ensuring you graduate work-ready. Many graduates have gone on to secure full-time employment either at their placement organisation or with associated groups they met during this networking experience.

Health Promotion is a 33 semester hour program designed for students interested in a career in a health-related field. Upon completion of the degree, professionals may be employed in hospital wellness centers, clinical rehabilitation, in corporate health promotion community health settings, or school-based health centers.
