The Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology provides knowledge and experience with electronics technology and applications in computer systems design, research and development, manufacturing and testing.

The Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) program produces highly trained engineering technology professionals who work as team members with engineers and scientists. Our graduates apply scientific and engineering knowledge with technical skills to make professional judgments.

The Bachelor of Applied Science degree is designed to combine:

1. Specialized vocational and technical course credits earned in an Associate of Applied Science degree, and

2. Credits earned in a planned program of studies that demonstrate a specific area of vocational or technical emphasis

This program simplifies transferring credits from technical or vocational institutions, community colleges, and Community College of the Air Force or appropriate military technical coursework.

The applied science program strives to provide students with a relevant education taught by experienced professional faculty members in modern laboratories and small classes.

Entry Requirements

- Previous college credit must be transferred into the program, and minimum credits required can vary depending on previous coursework completed.

- 2.0 cumulative GPA (2.5 cumulative GPA preferred) from all coursework previously completed

- Satisfy admission requirement in mathematics

- High school graduation or equivalent

The program of study is arranged in a logical sequence, with study moving from the most basic concepts through highly technical principles. Several professional courses are offered to assist in the development of managerial skills.

Entry Requirements

To be admitted to the online learning program in electronics engineering technology, the applicant must be admitted to the University as a degree-seeking student and satisfy the following:

1. An associate of science (A.S.) in electronics technology from Ivy Tech Community College or Vincennes University

Or completion of an A.S., A.A.S., or credit hours toward a bachelor degree in electronics technology (or closely related field) from a regionally accredited institution that meet the equivalent of the department's 100-200 level requirements for the electronics engineering technology major.

2. Courses in foundational studies that are not offered via online learning at Indiana State University

3. A cumulative grade point average of 2.0 (C average) in all college level studies

Grantham University’s Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology (BS-EET) program emphasizes electronics lab work and includes courses in DC/AC circuit design, advanced microprocessor design and applications, and digital and analog electronics and signal processing.

Elective courses are available in power systems, control systems and communications systems. Through the convenience of our 100% online learning environment, you are taught the principles and techniques for designing and evaluating electronic systems and making recommendations regarding their use and modification.

Note: You should be prepared to enter MA105 – College Algebra. If this is not the case, developmental math is available. Also, it is expected that you are computer literate and able to install programs, copy files from a disk to the hard drive, move files within directories, and use Word and Excel at a basic level. Entry Requirements

Official proof of high school graduation or equivalent received and verified by the Registrar’s office by Day 49 of the first term.

If proof of high school graduation is not on file by the first day of the term, a completed Transcript Request Form must be submitted by Day 8 of the first term.

All students are required to establish participation as outlined in the Participation and Substantive Interaction Policy within seven (7) days of the term start date.

Conditionally enrolled students must have their funding plan in place within seven (7) days of the term start date.
