It is imperative that the leadership teams of virtually every company must collectively recognize that they are managing their organization in a complex global network of suppliers, competitors, partners and customers - with all of the risks and opportunities entailed. In today's global business environment, every part of an organization must run in perfect alignment and at peak efficiency in order to meet the demands imposed by relentless global competitors. However, the same organization must also be able to regenerate itself to seek bold new directions that offer new opportunities for motivation and growth, be they new product categories, new markets, new partnerships, new processes, or new organizational structures. For example, think of Apple's foray into portable MP3 music players with their famous iPod, which represented a substantial departure from their main lines of computer hardware and software; yet which, successfully done, garnered over 90% share of the MP3 market within three years of its launch, at premium prices. Our online Executive MBA with a focus on Innovation Leadership is designed for advanced-career professionals who aspire to lead their companies towards much higher performance. We focus on developing leaders who are ready and able to identify a bold new venture, to convince other leaders of its merits and gain their commitment, and to ensure that the venture is successfully accomplished. The role of the occupational health and safety (OHS) unit in an organization has been steadily and significantly rising in prominence over the last several decades, in many organizations being transferred into the Operations function. This is well-deserved, as the evidence clearly indicates that well-designed and well-managed OHS programs contribute to a much healthier, more satisfied and more productive workforce, coincidentally with a significant financial upside for the organization. However, many, if not most, managers of OHS units have risen to their management positions without any prior post-secondary education in management, and face the dual challenges of a potential performance deficit, and reduced probability of promotion into executive ranks. Thus, this program has been developed to address these challenges, by improving the post-secondary educational landscape for upwardly-mobile OHS managers and executives.
Our online Executive MBA with a focus in Occupational Health and Safety Leadership is designed for advanced-career professionals and managers of OHS units who aspire to lead their businesses towards much higher performance. It begins with coverage of foundational management essentials such as financial, analytical and decision-making skills, and knowledge of an organization's core functions and interactions. The program goes much further than that. Its core focus is on leadership techniques, especially collaborative leadership in the complex context of multiple stakeholders and multiple objectives; then it augments this core focus with a series of specialty track courses focused exclusively on the needs of OHS leaders.

A Social Enterprise (SE) is generally understood to be a business operated or owned by a non-profit organization, established at least partly to supplement its public funding and charitable donations. The growth of the Social Enterprise sector is strong, and the need for capable and seasoned leaders even stronger. But leading such businesses is arguably more complex than leading a for-profit business - rather than having a single focus on profitability, Social Enterprise executives must achieve a “blended value” return on investment, balancing sustainable profitability with a social mission. Thus, in response to the growing demand for SE leaders, and the complexity of SE leadership, our online Executive MBA program has been developed with the advice of some of Canada’s leading practitioners to meet the sector’s specific needs.
Our online Executive MBA with a focus in Social Enterprise Leadership is designed for advanced-career professionals and managers of social enterprises who aspire to lead their businesses towards much higher performance. It begins with coverage of fundamental management essentials such as financial, analytical and decision-making skills, and knowledge of an organization's core functions and interactions. The program goes much further than that. It is imperative that the leadership teams of virtually every company collectively recognize that they are managing their organization in a complex global network of suppliers, competitors, partners and customers - with all of the threats and opportunities entailed. In our view, this global context is not to be feared. Rather, it must be embraced, and our leadership and management teams must be educated and prepared accordingly.
Our online MBA with a focus in Global Leadership is designed for early-career professionals and managers of medium to large sized companies who aspire to lead their companies towards much higher performance in their global networks. It begins with coverage of fundamental management essentials such as financial, analytical and decision-making skills, and knowledge of an organization's core functions and interactions. The program goes much further than that. Entry Requirements
The Admissions Committee reviews each MBA program applicant's academic and work history. Individuals wishing to be admitted to the MBA program must present the following minimum admission requirements:
• An undergraduate degree from a recognized and accredited university with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 grade scale;
• One or more years of full-time work experience. (Requirement may be waived on the recommendation of the Admissions Review Committee. One year practicum graduation requirement may be substituted for the work experience.);
• Resume package outlining current responsibilities, awards, career accomplishments and reasons for applying to the MBA program; and
• Two strong business and/or academic reference letters from past or present managers or supervisors indicating the applicant's likelihood of success in an MBA program.
Note: An English proficiency examination may be required if the student's undergraduate degree was not delivered in English. A score of 550 or better on the TOEFL test (213 for computer based test), score of 6.5 on the IELTS.
In addition (if necessary) an individual (or applicant) may be required to take the GMAT examination. This requirement will only apply to individuals (applicants) deemed marginally qualified by the Admissions Committee. Applicants who fulfill all other university entrance requirements without marginal conditions are not required to undertake the GMAT. Multiple criteria are used to make admission decisions. Individuals will be notified if taking the GMAT will be necessary before program admission is allowed. If a GMAT is requested, we would prefer to see a GMAT score greater than 550, with balanced quantitative and verbal scores.
International applicants must be qualified for university or college admission in their home countries. Transcripts must show a superior performance on the basis of the country's grading scheme. All records in a foreign language must include copies of the originals accompanied by certified English translations.
