Development Studies seeks to understand differences, examine key development issues and ideas, and introduce skills to help solve development problems. In Development Studies you study a number of different subjects, enabling you to grasp the complexities involved in understanding the differences countries face in solving development problems. Three papers form the basis for Development Studies. The first paper introduces you to the field of development studies and forms a basis for the more advanced papers. The two advanced papers examine the nature of development and underdevelopment, and the concepts, processes, practices, and strategies for sustainable development.
