Our psychology programmes have a strong focus on developing your employability and provide you with a comprehensive and critical understanding of the core principles of psychology, and how they are applied to real-world problems. This is achieved through our extensive academic and skills curriculum, the applied nature of our modules and the teaching of our experienced staff, many of whom are practicing psychologists and are renowned for their publication records.

As an inclusive university we recognise that applicants who have been out of education for some time may not have the formal qualifications usually required for entry to a course. We welcome applications from those who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and commitment to study and have relevant life/work experience that equips them to succeed on the course. We will assess this from the information provided in candidate's application (particularly candidate's personal statement) and may ask candidate to attend an interview or submit a piece of work to help us decide on candidate's eligibility for the course.
