Show More The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree is a professional degree offered by Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) in collaboration with Old Dominion University. The degree will be granted jointly by both institutions, but EVMS is the school of record. Admission and tuition are all handled by EVMS. Entry RequirementsRequirements for admission include: 1. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a competitive Grade Point Average (GPA) (minimum of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale). 2. Receipt of a bachelor’s degree prior to matriculating as an EVMS student. If the bachelor’s degree was issued by a U.S. college or university, as a general rule it should be from a regionally accredited institution. However, the program may grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis. 3. Official transcripts from the awarding institution must specify the date upon which the degree was issued. 4. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) taken within the last 5 years. 5. The GMAT or MCAT may be substituted for the GRE.
