The master of science is a 35-38 credit program that varies in length depending on the culminating experience course selected at the conclusion of the program. 2. All courses are offered online and clinical placement can be arranged in the student's community. 3. The program does not require on-campus visits and requires only high-speed internet access to facilitate course delivery. 4. The program can be completed in 2-2½ years with full-time study. Students also have the option of part study; however students are required to complete the program in 7 years. Graduates of this program are qualified specialists having expertise to utilize a wealth of administration and executive skills to assume first-line, middle management, and leadership roles in diverse health care settings. Knowledge and skills attained through this program include an emphasis in the following areas to meet the ANCC and AONE certification competencies:
