The Master of Nanoengineering (MNAE) distance education program is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in a science or engineering discipline who wish to pursue a graduate degree in nanoengineering. The field of nanoengineering is expected to revolutionize technology and improve quality of life, particularly as related to energy, environment, and health. Students will achieve an understanding of the fundamental advantages in nanoscale materials, devices, and systems. It is a 30 credit hour degree program that does not require a thesis, final oral exam or on-campus residency.

Entry Requirements

The minimum requirements for admission to the online Master of Nanoengineering graduate degree program are as follows:

1. BS degree in science (i.e. chemistry or physics) or engineering from an accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA in their major.

2. GRE scores should be submitted if available and should not be more than two years old.

3. Three letters of recommendation from persons able to comment on the applicant’s qualifications for graduate study.

4. Official transcript.

5. Completion of written statement outlining student’s background, work experience and particular interest in nanoengineering.

6. The Graduate School requires that all international applicants take the TOEFL or IELTS examinations unless they have completed one year of study at a university in the U.S., Canada, or Great Britain. The exam must have been taken within two years of receipt of application. Standard practices for admission of international students by the NCSU graduate school will be followed.

CSU’s Master of Natural Resource Management provides you with the advanced knowledge and skills to implement sustainable natural resource management. Graduates may work as consultants or staff for businesses involved in natural resource management, or in operational or policy roles for government agencies.

Australia's natural resources are under grave threat from climate change, water scarcity, land management pressures and inappropriate development. Entry Requirements

The Master of Natural Resource Stewardship requires that students have the following:

- A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution

- A 3.0 GPA on all undergraduate coursework. Exceptions to this are made on a case-by-case basis.

- No specific prior coursework is required. Coursework in biology, chemistry, and statistics is recommended. Applications are reviewed holistically, and certain job experiences may exempt someone from specific academic coursework. In other instances, some additional undergraduate courses may be required to meet knowledge gaps.

- Some natural resource experience is required. All types of experiences (volunteer, paid, etc.) over any length of time are considered.
