Show More This course will provide you with a professional qualification in information management together with an understanding of how the field of information management is developing. The Master of Information Management offers two streams of study: information and library studies, or records management and archives. Both streams offer introductory and advanced units in each discipline, as well as the option of undertaking an individual research project. You can choose which stream to study. If you do not wish to undertake a research project, a suitable coursework stream can be arranged with academic staff. It is also possible to take units from both streams and become qualified in librarianship, records management and archives. You must complete a practicum placement within a library or an information centre during a semester break as a requirement of the course. This practicum placement is organised by the Department of Information Studies. Entry RequirementsA bachelor degree or equivalent.
