Entry Requirements

CCU sets test scores and grade point averages as our minimum level of acceptance for traditional undergraduate students. Normally, the minimum requirements for admission are:

2.8 High School GPA;
21 ACT composite scoreor1500 SAT score;
A strong spiritual recommendation; and
Application essay responses

Students who do not meet these minimum requirements are encouraged to apply and the University will consider their application under a committee review process which may include a personal interview. Factors such as essay content, recommendation content, and extracurricular activity all contribute to an individual admission decision.

International Student Requirements

As an international student, you must meet regular entrance requirements and follow standard application procedures. In addition, you will need to demonstrate the ability to understand college-level English. All non-native English speaking undergraduate students must achieve a minimum score of 550 or better on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

If you are admitted on a student visa you must be enrolled for at least twelve semester hours of credit. In order to work off campus, international students must meet with the International Student Coordinator at CCU to obtain permission from the United States Immigration authorities. International students may be eligible for institutional financial aid and awards, but are not eligible for federal financial aid.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration (BSHA) is an undergraduate professional degree designed to prepare students for entry-level supervisory and mid-level management roles in health care organizations. Ideal candidates for the BSHA program are those students looking for career entry in health care administration and those looking to advance from clinical/technical roles to supervisory roles. The BSHA program also prepares students who wish to eventually seek their master's degree in order to obtain senior health care executive positions.

This health care administration degree emphasizes both the conceptual and analytical skills required to manage in contemporary health care organizations. Graduates may be prepared for administrative positions in hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, outpatient facilities, physician offices, mental health organizations, insurance companies, public health agencies, government health departments, and other types of health organizations.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration degree features investigative and experiential opportunities in project management, teamwork, and leadership. Students will have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the organization and structure of the health care sector. High School Transcripts - Applicants are required to submit official high school transcripts with a cumulative, unweighted grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or above.

Transferring from Another College, University or Program

Second Bachelor's Degree
