Show More A bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition from The University of Alabama focuses on the relationship between nutrition and human health. This program is beneficial because it is offered exclusively by distance, making it convenient for working adults. Students will learn how to translate the science of nutrition into the best way to treat and prevent disease in individuals and communities. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of registered dietitians is expected to increase nine percent during the 2008-2018 projection period.
