It is of particular relevance to non-graduates who are required by the Professional Accounting organisations to complete 16 Unit Masters Program. Such applicants may gain entry via completion of the Graduate Certificate in Accounting with a grade point average of five. The course covers introductory as well as advanced units in financial and management accounting, finance, tax and company law and auditing. It also covers four general business subjects. On successful completion graduates can apply for Associate Membership of the Professional Accounting Organisations. The course is accredited by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, CPA Australia and the Institute of Public Accountants. Entry RequirementsA candidate shall: (a) have fulfilled all the requirements for admission to a degree or qualification of equivalent standing at this or another university or tertiary institution; or (b) have completed the Graduate Certificate in Accounting or any graduate certificate as approved by the course coordinator; or (c) have completed the Graduate Diploma in Accounting or any graduate diploma as approved by the course coordinator. Proof of completion of a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
