Show More he RN to MSN Bridge program at Aspen allows registered nurses who have already earned an associate’s degree in nursing and are ready to expand their career opportunities and better serve their patients by obtaining a graduate-level degree. The program prepares graduates for leadership roles in management, education and clinical practice within across a diverse spectrum of healthcare settings. Students of the RN to MSN Bridge Program who choose the Nursing Administration and Management specialization will study a core curriculum focused on nursing theory, a practical knowledge of legal and ethical issues in healthcare and specialized skills in areas such as finance; healthcare informatics; and strategic management, and planning. Courses include Modern Organizations and Health Care, Health Care Informatics, Health Care Finance and Economics, Diverse Populations and Health Care. In addition to coursework, students will have the opportunity to gain clinical experience in the field of Nursing Administration and Management during the two-part Nursing Administration Practicum course. Associate Degree in Nursing Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) or diploma in nursing from a school accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater. Liberal Arts Courses Completion of 50 semester hours of required liberal arts education coursework. Registered Nurse Licensure Current licensure as a registered nurse in the United States or Canada Nursing Experience A minimum of one year of nursing experience completed within the past five years.
