In your second and third years you will study the planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion programs. You will explore specific areas of health promotion practice including:
physical activity You will also study the role of health promotion professionals working in partnership with communities, organisations, government and other health professionals. This program can prepare you for a career as a health promotion practitioner working in community, school, workplace and media settings with both government and non-government organisations. Opportunities for interprofessional learning take place across the course. Entry RequirementsApplicants should have completed at least one science subject at school leaving level. public health The occupational health and safety component of the second, third and fourth years is designed to equip you with the skills you need to contribute proactively to risk management and assessment, and the prevention of injuries and disease in the workplace.
