Students of the RN to MSN Bridge Program who choose the Nursing Administration and Management specialization will study a core curriculum focused on nursing theory, a practical knowledge of legal and ethical issues in healthcare and specialized skills in areas such as finance; healthcare informatics; and strategic management, and planning. Courses include Modern Organizations and Health Care, Health Care Informatics, Health Care Finance and Economics, Diverse Populations and Health Care. In addition to coursework, students will have the opportunity to gain clinical experience in the field of Nursing Administration and Management during the two-part Nursing Administration Practicum course.
