- Successful completion of a total of 20 semester hours at a regionally accredited, mainland U.S. university or college where English is the language of instruction, including three semester hours of English that qualify as transfer credit for Florida Tech’s Composition and Rhetoric (COM 1101) course

- Successful completion of a NASFA-recognized ESL program

This programme is designed for qualified accounting & finance professionals.

It offers a flexible mode of study (distance learning) and the opportunity to add to proven current skill set. Student's technical ability is assumed and as a result they will be awarded 90 credits of exemptions towards a full UK masters award (requiring 180 educational credits).

This enables them to complete a postgraduate qualification within 12 months, although it is possible to take longer should this also be desirable.

The MSc is designed for AIA, ACCA CIMA, ACA or CPA Australia graduates and aims to provide a means by which the continuing professional and personal needs of accounting practitioners may be met. Specifically, it aims to extend and enhance the understanding and competence gained via professional qualification and to enhance the ability of students to think strategically about management and organisational change. This top up course may be taken by part-time study (day or evening) in Northampton or by distance learning worldwide. Distance learning students are supported by online learning materials.

The programme is designed to broaden your specialist knowledge gained at the professional level. In particular the module on 'Managing Strategic Change' takes an in depth look at both leading edge strategic issues and change processes. The module covers the business tools, techniques and concepts used in scanning the business environment for potential changes, analysing the potential implications of differing scenarios, strategies and processes before developing responses to potential changes. 'Research Methods' covers the introduction to research, types of research methodology, formulating and planning a research project, data collection and analysis and presentation of research findings.
