Entry RequirementsApplicants must: (a) (i) satisfy the University’s general entry requirements; (ii) be a first level nurse on the NMC Register or equivalent in their own country or have a pre-registration nursing level 5 qualification or in respect of non-health professionals, have completed a Higher National Diploma or equivalent in a relevant health or social care subject; (iii) have previously completed a research methods module at level 5 or Equivalent (only applicable to those seeking direct entry at level 6); and (iv) provide evidence of access to a client base to facilitate study; (v) and provide evidence of competence in written and spoken English (GCSE grade C or equivalent); or International students will have a score of 7.0 overall on the IELTS test with a minimum score of 7.0 on each sub-scale; or as an alternative to (a) (ii)and (a) (iii) and (a) (iv) (b) provide evidence of their ability to undertake the programme through the accreditation of prior experiential learning(APEL).
