Show More The Master of Environmental Engineering (MENE) is designed for students with an undergraduate degree in an engineering discipline who wish to pursue a graduate degree. Students who do not have an undergraduate degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or construction engineering and management may have to complete additional course work prior to being accepted into the program. Areas of concentration include air quality and air pollution prevention and control, groundwater hydrology, contamination and remediation, geoenvironmental engineering, environmental exposure and risk assessment, solid waste management, water and water treatment, and water resources. No thesis is required. Entry RequirementsPrerequisites for admission to the MENE degree include an accredited undergraduate degree in civil or environmental engineering or its equivalent with an overall GPA of 3.0. The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) is required for admissions into the degree program; however, this may be waived upon request from students with engineering or closely related undergraduate degrees that have a strong mathematical curriculum. The TOEFL or IELTS scores (no more than two years old) are required for international applicants unless they have completed one year of study at a university in the United States, Canada or Great Britain.
