The internship experience helps develop the learner‛s understanding of the complexity of being a leader in the school setting. There is also a focus on classroom technology use and training, ranging from development of a vision for technology support to demonstrating practical skills, such as writing a grant, researching funding sources, developing a series of training sessions, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology integration in teaching. Geared toward individuals who are already licensed as teachers, this curriculum and instruction degree program does not lead to licensure but may lead to career advancement. Program applicants must submit a copy of a current teaching license or provide evidence of a minimum of one year of teaching experience. In addition, it is essential for students to have access to a K-12 classroom to complete the program assignments.
