Show More The Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree program will guide you through the major theological themes in the Bible including: Creation, Sin, Reconciliation and Hope. Your ability to understand and apply the Bible will be enhanced through historical and contextual exploration of scripture. This degree will equip you to interpret the Bible for yourself and others and is available online or in a traditional classroom setting. The online biblical studies degree gives you the flexibility of completing assignments on your schedule. The goal for graduates of the Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biblical Studies degree program is not to master the Bible, but rather to be mastered by the Bible and to be servants of God to those with whom you come in contact. This degree provides a foundation for seminary, various ministry positions, missions, social service, and/or for personal spiritual development.
Biblical Studies Degree Program Benefits The Biblical Studies degree program is specially designed for adult students who are busy with work and family commitments. Students attend class one night a week. Students can choose to complete the coursework online.
Online courses typically run for five weeks and weekly assignments may be completed around your schedule. Students have direct access to professors who are also professionals in the field. Entry RequirementsCCU sets test scores and grade point averages as our minimum level of acceptance for traditional undergraduate students. Normally, the minimum requirements for admission are:
2.8 High School GPA; Students who do not meet these minimum requirements are encouraged to apply and the University will consider their application under a committee review process which may include a personal interview. Factors such as essay content, recommendation content, and extracurricular activity all contribute to an individual admission decision.
International Student Requirements As an international student, you must meet regular entrance requirements and follow standard application procedures. In addition, you will need to demonstrate the ability to understand college-level English. All non-native English speaking undergraduate students must achieve a minimum score of 550 or better on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
If you are admitted on a student visa you must be enrolled for at least twelve semester hours of credit. In order to work off campus, international students must meet with the International Student Coordinator at CCU to obtain permission from the United States Immigration authorities. International students may be eligible for institutional financial aid and awards, but are not eligible for federal financial aid. Other Fees |

In completing a bachelor‛s degree with an emphasis in biblical studies, you will complete a set of specialized courses that will prepare for a variety of Christian leadership positions. Specialized Old Testament coursework will focus on the Hebrew Writings, the Old Testament Wisdom Literature, and the Old Testament Prophets while the New Testament specialized coursework will focus on the writing of Paul and John and the other letters to the Church. High School Transcripts - Applicants are required to submit official high school transcripts with a cumulative, unweighted grade point average (GPA) of 2.75 or above.
Transferring from Another College, University or Program Applicants with 25 or more transferable credits from an accredited, GCU-approved college, university or program may be accepted to the university if they have an unweighted GPA of 2.25 or above. Second Bachelor's Degree
