Show More The Autism (Adults) programme is a distance learning programme which is studied part-time. It draws upon each student’s own experience as part of the content and assessment and is appropriate for practitioners working with adults across the autism spectrum within colleges, residential care, vocational or support services. The University of Birmingham is the leading provider of degree-level education in autistic spectrum disorders in the UK - offering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Our courses develop real insight and encourage reflective practice. You will be tutored by recognized experts in the field who work in the Autism Centre for Education and Research (ACER) and will have access to an extensive library and research materials. Academic credits and qualifications can be used as a springboard to further study. Our courses contribute towards LDAF and NVQ. Entry RequirementsDomestic Students An early application is advised as places are allocated on a first come first served basis. All applications plus supplementary material (letters of recommendations/references, official transcripts etc) must be submitted no later than 4 weeks prior to the start date of your chosen programme in order for your application to be considered for the academic year. If your supplementary material is received after the deadline, your application may be considered for the following academic year. Upon receipt of your application you may, if you live in the UK, be invited for an interview or to visit the University.
Either: A four year Bachelors degree (first class or very good upper second class) Or: A three year Bachelors degree (first class) from recognised institutions in India.
English language requirements Students can satisfy our English language requirements in two ways: by holding an English language qualification to the right level by taking and successfully completing one of our English courses for international students Other FeesFee is different for each year
