Show More CSU's Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Imaging Conversion), offered by distance education, focuses on the techniques and equipment used in diagnostic radiography and in other imaging modalities, to prepare graduates for a career in this highly technical area of healthcare. CSU's Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Imaging Conversion) course allows qualified radiographers who hold non-Australian qualifications and whose qualifications are not recognised as being an Australian three-year, full-time degree equivalent or qualified diagnostic radiographers with an academic qualification of three years full-time equivalent, for example the Diploma of Health Science (Medical Imaging) previously awarded by Charles Sturt University, or equivalent to upgrade to academic degree level. Due to the diverse range of primary academic qualifications and experience possessed by applicants, there are three levels of entry. The course does not include a clinical practice competence requirement. Entry RequirementsApplicants must hold CSU's Diploma of Health Science (Medical Imaging) or an equivalent Diploma from another Australian institution and be qualified radiographers with at least two years of clinical experience. Holders of approved overseas qualifications may also be eligible to study the course.
