It includes farming enterprises such as dairy, meat, and wool production; forage production; farm tourism; genetic improvement of plants and animals; and seed production. It also includes biosecurity, as well as service, consultative, and food processing industries. The Agriculture major will introduce you to a wide range of agricultural enterprises and enable you to gain specialist skills and knowledge in areas of greatest interest to you. You are also able to enter Honours, Postgraduate Diploma, or Masters programmes to further your learning after completing the major.
