Similar to our MSc Advanced Practice course, this route allows you to apply advanced practice to the specialisation of diabetes nursing.

For a qualified nurse currently working in diabetes nursing, this course provides the opportunity to take the next step to an advanced career role. The entry requirement for this course is a UK degree . We look for applicants to have a background in Professionals caring for the public in order to be eligible for the programme.
We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient relevant work experience within the industry.
If English is not your first language, it is usually required that you sit an English language test in order to gain entry onto our postgraduate programmes. This course requires the standard IELTS 6.0 with no individual component score of less than 5.5 or equivalent.

Entry Requirements

The Nursing program requires applicants to have an associate degree or diploma in nursing from a state board of nursing approved registered nurse program. All applicants must hold a valid, unencumbered license to practice registered professional nursing in their state of residence, and have a 2.5 GPA or better in the past nursing program. Students who do not meet the 2.5 GPA requirement may apply for admission to the Nursing program on a provisional status. Upon successful completion of the first semester of the nursing curriculum, a student may apply for a change of status from provisional admission to the full admission.
