Entry Requirements

Students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Science in Health Science program must be a graduate of an associate’s degree level, health sciences program (i.e., medical assisting, respiratory therapy, nurse education, surgical technology, etc.) from an accredited institution or have completed sufficient college credit to attain the equivalent of an associate’s degree in the discipline of health science. Prospective students should also have completed an appropriate number of credit hours of general education (e.g., 15 semester credit hours and 22.5 quarter credit hours).

Applicants for admission must have graduated from an accredited high school, private secondary school, or have completed the equivalent (GED).

International Applicants

Applicants to an undergraduate associate’s or bachelor’s program must provide an official or attested transcript of completed high school work translated into English and certified to be at least equivalent to the credential required by the college in its admissions criteria. This policy also applies to any student with previous education completed outside of the United States.

Educational Business Management is a rapidly developing profession and this programme has been developed in response open to those in business management, administration and leadership roles working within, or supporting, the education sector. It aims to develop business managers for education who will be capable of leadership and management and contribute to the strategic development of educational organisations.

The course is delivered as a part time distance learning route over two years upwards at advanced entry through a blended learning model that includes online learning, electronic communication and face-to-face sessions delivered a Cheshire (2 days per unit, typically once a term). Entry Requirements

Applicants are required to have a baccalaureate degree from an institution of higher learning accredited or accepted as accredited in the United States, with a cumulative grade point of 2.5 or better. Students who do not meet the cumulative grade point standard may be conditionally accepted and required to take specific introductory course work and complete it with a grade of 3.0 or better, prior to consideration of formal acceptance.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of two years of relevant and substantive experience in a health related field; applicants without this experience must submit a letter explaining their interest and motivation for applying to the program.
