The named award MSc Applied Professional Studies (Adult Care and Protection) aims to develop advanced levels of professional practice in work with vulnerable adults. It will enable students to conceptualise and apply a range of theoretical and practice frameworks for assessment and intervention with vulnerable adults, enhance inter-professional and multi–sector working practices to promote collaborative practice and integrated approaches within and across a range of professions and disciplines.
Entry RequirementsFor general admission to the programme you should normally have obtained an honours degree or other qualification recognised by us as equivalent. In addition to meeting the required entrance qualification criteria, your admission to the programme is subject to you providing evidence that you have a minimum period of two years experience working in an appropriate practice setting. Depending on the pathway chosen there can be further specific entry requirements to meet.

IELTS minimum overall score of 6.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in the writing component and a minimum of 5.5 in the other 3 components.
