Show More UNC Greensboro's Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program is an interdisciplinary program that encourages critical and imaginative thinking on intellectual, social, political, historical, literary, and artistic issues within a broad humanistic perspective. The curriculum is centered around a series of seminars that employs the disciplines of the various liberal arts in ways that will enrich your understanding of yourself and the world around you. The seminars are organized into three thematic categories and cover a wide variety of subjects and issues. You must take at least one seminar from each of the thematic categories. Seminar topics change each semester. This online program is specifically designed for adult students who have earned a bachelor's degree, regardless of the field. Course delivery is asynchronous and delivered entirely online, enhanced by various interactive Internet-based learning applications and by streaming audio and video. This program is accredited by the Association of Graduate Liberal Studies Programs. Through this process Undergraduate Admissions will review all available information about a student’s application, carefully considering all aspects of a student’s academic background and accomplishments.
