Applicants who are admitted into Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Adult Education Leadership degree program have met the following admission requirements:

Masters of Education (MEd) or a related degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 from a regionally-accredited college or university (or its international equivalent).

Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 2.5 from a regionally-accredited college or university (or its international equivalent).

Candidates need to research their state licensure requirements prior to applying.

The primary objective of the Master of Science in Health Sciences in the clinical management and leadership field is to develop management and leadership knowledge and skills for the practicing professional in health disciplines. Complete a Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

Current licensure to practice nursing as a Registered Nurse
in the applicant’s state or country. For those applicants practicing in Michigan, a current Registered Nurse Michigan license is required.

A minimum grade-point average of 3.0 (4.0 scale) for total credits completed during the second-half of the four-year baccalaureate nursing program.

No clinical practice experience is required prior to acceptance for the Clinical Nurse Specialist-Nurse Education concentration.

Successfully completed an undergraduate or graduate statistics course within the last five years.

If the applicant’s native language is not English, the applicant must complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language with a total score of 580 (paper version) or 21 (computer version). Equivalent scores on the English Language Center Test may be submitted.

If the applicant’s native language is not English, the applicant must complete the Educational Testing Service Test of Spoken English (TSE) with a score of 50 or above.
