Students who choose to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree acquire skills needed to be a leader who can identify challenges and opportunities, draw on technology and information, use advanced analytical and planning approaches, and execute plans for positive change. Entry Requirements

A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, a nationally accredited institution approved and documented by the faculty and dean of the College of Business, or an appropriately certified foreign institution.

• A 2.7 grade point average for the bachelor’s degree used as the basis of admission, or a grade point average of at least 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) for the last 60 hours of coursework (including graduate work).

• A minimum score on an Argosy University pre-approved English language proficiency test is required for all applicants whose native language is not English or who have not graduated from an institution at which English is the language of instruction as specified in the Academic Catalog, Section Five, Admission Policies, “English Language Proficiency Policy.”

• Application fee (Non-refundable, except in California and Arizona. In the state of Arizona, the application fee is refundable if the application is canceled within three business days of the applicant signing the Enrollment Agreement.)

• If the basis of admission is an earned bachelor’s degree with a 2.7 grade point average, an official transcript from the degree granting institution.

• If the basis of admission is a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a scale of 4.0) for the last 60 hours of coursework, official transcripts from all post secondary schools attended during the 60 hours of study.

Entry Requirements

All graduate admissions options listed below require an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution.

Option One
-------------

A 3.0 grade point average (GPA) calculated over the most recent 30 graded semester (45 quarter) credits completed in either a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate program, including credits earned toward a credential. All credits used for GPA calculation must be from a regionally accredited institution.

Option Two
--------------

A GPA between 2.5 and 2.99 calculated over the most recent graded 30 semester (45 quarter) credits completed in either a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate program, including credits earned toward a credential. All credits used for GPA calculation must be from a regionally accredited institution. A satisfactory score on an accepted graduate admissions exam is required.

- Graduate Record Exam (GRE): achieve the required minimum scores on two out of three of the subsections of the GRE. (Minimum score for Quantitative: 141, minimum score for Verbal: 150, minimum score for Analytic Writing: 4.5)

- Miller Analogies Test (MAT): achieve a minimum scaled score of 400.

- Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT): fulfill the formula GMAT + (GPA X 200) > 1000.

Option Three
----------------

An earned master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.

Option Four
--------------

Submission of a portfolio of evidence that shows adequate preparation for graduate studies. The portfolio will contain: writing samples that show graduate level communications and analytical skills; a detailed resume showing professional development and achievements; awards; professional recognition; letters of reference from persons who can attest to the applicant’s ability to do graduate level work; and a letter of explanation detailing the reasons the student believes he or she is a good candidate for graduate study in the field of Organizational Leadership.

The application allows you to tell us about your past education and current education goals. Plus, CAL.M.U. does not require standardized tests for admission, so there is nothing to stop you from applying for an online MBA degree or our other graduate programs today!

When applying to any of our hybrid or online graduate programs including online MBA degree programs: CAL.M.U. will not require proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, but will require copies of transcripts from all Undergraduate programs and coursework, and any graduate level coursework completed prior to applying. Once admitted, CAL.M.U. requires official transcripts be sent directly from previous institutions within 90 days of enrollment.

English Language Requirement
