Show More CCU’s Accounting degree is designed to meet the rising demand for accounting professionals who are committed to high ethical standards in the world of business finance. Students in the accounting program gain a foundation of knowledge in business and economics, and receive training in a variety of specialized accounting fields including tax accounting, accounting for nonprofit and government organizations, and accounting systems. Focus Areas in the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting degree parallel sections of the Uniform CPA Examination, including: financial accounting and reporting, auditing and attestation, and regulation. In addition, the accounting bachelor degree coursework meets Colorado state exam requirements.

2.8 High School GPA; Students who do not meet these minimum requirements are encouraged to apply and the University will consider their application under a committee review process which may include a personal interview. Factors such as essay content, recommendation content, and extracurricular activity all contribute to an individual admission decision.
International Student Requirements As an international student, you must meet regular entrance requirements and follow standard application procedures. In addition, you will need to demonstrate the ability to understand college-level English. All non-native English speaking undergraduate students must achieve a minimum score of 550 or better on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
If you are admitted on a student visa you must be enrolled for at least twelve semester hours of credit. In order to work off campus, international students must meet with the International Student Coordinator at CCU to obtain permission from the United States Immigration authorities.
